At Last

At last this tatty old bathroom suite is out of my bathroom and out of my life (well almost). I've waited for this for so long and I'm happy to see it lying in the garden as a pile of junk.

This is my bathroom as it looked on Monday....I really don't care about the chaos and the mess. I'm so pleased to see that we are on our way to a shiny, clean space. I've managed to keep out of the way of all the chaos by being at work for two days and then going on a long shopping trip another day. Tomorrow, I'm having a day out with a friend - somewhere within easy reach of a nice clean loo!

We once had a house where the bathroom suite was a revolting shade of brown - it was so wonderful to replace it was a shiny clean white one!

It feels lovely to have a brand new bathroom. We had both of our redone three years ago and they still look as good as new. I can never understand why people let them get into such a state. The old shower cubicle looked like it had never been cleaned....errrgh....I never used it until the boiler broke down and it was the only way to be cleaned with hot water....it was the middle of winter too! x

I rather like the rustic look!
A bathroom makeover has been on our list of 'to do' since we moved in to this house 3 years ago... I am still waiting for the day we can strip all the grotty white tiles off the walls and have tongue and groove panelling... Dream on!

Like Michele (C&C) we have been hoping for a bathroom makeover for the last 3 years but as usual finances wont allow it so it will be good to share in your new bathroom glories! I loved your last post and wish we had smellyblogging as its all my favourite smells! Your holiday looks amazing what a stunning place to go, lucky you. Jane xxx

It is horrible when you have a room in utter chaos. I remember when my OH did our kitchen, it was so inconvenient to have to wash-up in the bathroom! Saying this, it is exciting to see the finished product and I am sure you will be wanting to spend all your time in the bath, or on the loo! x

Hi! I wanted to tell you that I listened to some of your recommended music on iTunes today and I LOVE Awkward Annie and now I shall listen to it while I exercise (it'll be lots more fun!)
THANK YOU!
