Bathroom Reveal & Mr Funky's Giveaway

Mr Funky finished painting the bathroom yesterday and I've spent part of this morning titivating and tweaking and probably will be titivating and tweaking all week as I decide exactly where everything should go.

Because the room is so small it has been very difficult to take photos to show it and I'm not really satisfied with my efforts. Nevermind, I've had a go. I'm just so relieved to see the back of all that peach that was in there previously.

There isn't really too much to say about such a very tiny space, so come and have a visual tour with me instead.

Look carefully and you'll see me and camera lens!

Thanks for joining me on the tour. Now, onto Mr Funky's giveaway. Mr F went shopping alone a week or two ago and came home with the soaps pictured above, as well as a set of handbag sized tubes of handcream. Lovley man that he is he also bought a set for you

...........well one of you at least. If you'd like these for yourself just leave a comment on this post and Mr F will pick a name from the hat to find the winner. I'll leave this giveaway open for the whole of August. I know many people are taking holidays and I'm finding it difficult to get computer time as Master Funky and teenage friends fill the spare bedroom in an attempt to take over the world via X-Box Live. I'll name the winner at the beginning of September, though I do hope to be blogging sporadically during August.

It look very smart & I love the finishing touches! Our bathroom needs redecorating as we did it when we moved in 7 years ago - we had to replace the whole bathroom then, it just needs a freshen up with new paint now!

I'm so glad my leapfrogging from blog to blog landed me on your lily pad. I love your soap signs in the bathroom, and the jar of soaps - I'm going to copy that this afternoon. And I never knew Kath K did soap! Pleeeeze put me into the draw.
Have a wonderful time in Cornwall (whereabouts are you going?) It's my favourite place in the world apart from home. We love Gwythian and spent many, many holidays down there. I feel spiritually bereft when I haven't been for some time.
best wishes, Jan.

Hi there FM - the wedding was wonderful will post some very soon. The honeymooners are now in Egypt and I am a proud mother in law. Anyway back to reality. I love you bathroon - I am thinking of that sort of flooring colour - is yours click laminate? or tiles?
As you have seen the pic of the shower you will be releived to here that we are no further on. Now Alan has taken up fly fishing which is good because I get some relaxing time on a Mon and Fri evening!! but the house is grinding to a halt. He has done the panelling on three walls but we now need my brother to come and disconnect the loo and sink so alan can quickly add panelling behind them and the Peter can add the new sink and loo in their place. We have bare 1970's orange varnished floorboards on the floor with added paint splashes from my match pot accident and tile adhesive that Alan kept dropping we are off for two weeks next Saturday and so we will be painting the stair rails etc and finishing the bathroom - I believe that when I see it!!
