I've had some luck recently finding lovely things for the house. Firstly I came across this sandwich set in a local charity shop.
Then I found this gorgeous victorian mixing bowl in a Bridgnorth antique shop.
I really ought to make some cakes and serve them up on those pretty sandwich plates - but I've got to get Josh to orchestra tonight and my job will be keeping me busy for the next couple of days. Perhaps at the weekend?

Lovely finds, especially the plates a good reason to make cakes just for the pleasure of using them. I've baked some muffins tonight, they're so easy to do and I can knock out a batch when I get home from work without too much effort.
